About Andi Dawson

Authentic Voice, Memorable Stories

Author of the Blue Moon Island novels, voice actor, and singer. Stories where mystery meets absurdity, and the paperwork bites back.

The short, true(ish) version about Andi Dawson

What is it about Andi Dawson that makes him feel he belongs on his own website? Well, he is a British author, voice actor, and professional vocalist - that's why. He writes comedic fantasy about hidden islands, sarcastic librarians, and the bureaucratic nightmares that haunt us all. When not writing, he can usually be found arguing with seagulls, recording voices in his home studio, or researching increasingly absurd folklore that may or may not end up in the next book. He prides himself on adhering to his mantra: Authentic Voice, Memorable Stories.

What’s Blue Moon Island?

Every three years the island becomes real. In between, it mostly isn’t. Librarians keep the records. Elders keep the forms. Somewhere, a Gate hums like an idea that shouldn’t be left unattended. Start with Book One, The Fog Beneath, then carry on into The Fifth Moon, The Gate That Wasn’t There, and The Island That Wasn’t Ours.
